Zoom in and you can see it is literally a pick and the point is wedged in the rock. I included it because or the contest backstory and all. Your comment makes it cleat that it's not so clear. Ah well. Thanks for taking a look.

I love the pov here. The snake is that much more imposing, and we see how at a "disadvantage" Lara seems to be lost in that wilderness and with this huge snake coming at her. Great work on this!

Argh... is right but with the perspective it's hard to tell if the camera is just real close to
decent sized garden snake, which makes it a cool perspective.

Upon looking at the finished render I was thinking about that too, size and perspective. I think he looks bigger than a garter snake though. I did rush this really. With only a few days left for the deadline, I started this. Two nights to compose and two nights to render. The last night I did some corrective post work. My favorite part of the image is the rock and some of the plant placement. I'm actually doing an alternate image with the character having a more Angelina look. The contest specifically said, "no Angelina Jolie lookalikes". Thanks for the look and I always appreciate some insight.

That's not fair, "nojolies angelica". HA HA. It's a cute render, truly,
and the perspective is cool because you can't tell for sure the
dimensions of the characters in reference to each other.
